GigaGolf has released its newest driver, the Power Max KC2 TRX Ti.We can know from the name that TRX is a member of the KC2 (Kinetic Control) family, which means the weight port technology revolution continues.
TRX Ti has a new shape, size, weights; even the color is new.
The shape of the new TRX Ti driver is triangular. This allowed GigaGolf to set the center of gravity further back;helping the average player to launch the ball higher, which helps to maximize carry distance. The new triangular shape also aids in aligning your tee shot and increases the club’s MOI.Clubs with higher MOI twist less on impact resulting in more fairways and less rough.
Weight port technology is one of the best things to happen top drivers. You can set the TRX Ti driver up with the 6-gram weight in the heel (Draw Bias) and will find that your shots turned to the left about 15 to 20 yards. One shot that stands out in my mind was one of the first swings I took. Contact was made on the toe side of the sweet spot and the ball flew straight as an arrow. Keep in mind that I had the 6-gram weight in the heel. For additional control 8, 10 and 12 gram weight will be available shortly. The triangular shape moves the center of gravity back further for a nice, high-arcing trajectory.
The TRX certainly represents a marked advancement over the KC2 which itself was an improvement over the Acer system Qs. If you are fighting a slice or just wanting to upgrade your drives give the TRX a try, I think you will be happy you did.
